Adding a Business Entity to Corterum

This is how you use Corterum to record and manage the third-party businesses with which you have a relationship

As well as recording information on your own firm, the Senior Manager and Certification Regime (SM&CR) requires you to keep information on the businesses you have supplier or other relationships with - for example the details of a firm from which you request a regulatory reference for one of your members of staff. To record this information within Corterum:

  1. Log into Corterum as an administrator.

  2. Click ADMINISTRATION and then ENTITIES.

  3. Click the circled PLUS symbol.

  4. Select 'Business' from the pop-up menu.

  5. Fill in all required details, ensuring you tick the 'Is Third Party?' box.

  6. Click SAVE and CLOSE.

You have now created the business you have a relationship with. Repeat this process to add additional businesses.
