SM&CR is complex, and often necessitates managing and updating a large number of datasets. That's why Corterum allows you to link a dataset to a task, so you can immediately jump to the dataset you need to update.

Before we link a dataset to a task, we need to create a task. To do this, follow this process:

Creating and assigning a task

  1. To get started, head to the ADMINISTRATION tab at the top of the screen.

  2. On the left-hand panel, click on TASKS, then click on the PLUS icon.

  3. You will then see a pop-up allowing you to add attributes to your task:

  4. First, set a title for your task (this is a mandatory field)

  5. Optionally, add a description to your task.

  6. You can also, optionally, set the priority level for the task.

  7. Next, add a deadline for your task to be completed.

  8. You can then, optionally, check the box to indicate that task completion is required by all users.

  9. Next, you can assign 1 or more users to this task (this is a mandatory field)

Including a link to a dataset within a task

  1. At the very bottom of the pop-up menu, you'll see an option to include a link to a dataset.

  2. First, click the checkbox to reveal a drop-down menu.

  3. From the drop-down menu, either search for or select from the list of datasets contained within your Corterum instance. NOTE: only one dataset can be linked to a task at one time.

  4. To finalise tis process, click SAVE.
