To record these regulations, and your understanding of them, you:
Log into Corterum.
Click Workbench and then Datasets.
Click SM&CR, then Conduct Rules and then click on Regulations impacting my area of responsibility.
If you, or anyone on your team that you have access to, have created a a record before, it will appear here, listed under the relevant Person entity.
To edit an existing record, click on it, and when the pop-appears, select EDIT and follow the steps below.
To create a new record, click on the plus (+) symbol.
A new pop-up window will appear.
First, you need to identify which Person Entity the record applies to, by choosing the relevant person from the dropdown list under "Regulations impacting my areas of responsibility." at the top of the pop-up.
You can then proceed to fill in the details of the regulations that apply to your role. For each regulation that impacts your areas of responsibility, you'll need to make a new entry (a new 'line' in the table). Fill in the table as follows:
Date: Select the date on which you became subject to this regulation.
Primary Legislation: if the regulation arises from laws, record the primary legislation here (e.g. FSMA 2000).
Secondary Legislation: if the regulation arises from laws, record any secondary legislation here.
Regulation: Record the name of the regulation you're recording here (e.g. CASS).
Relevance to my area of responsibility: Use this text box to describe how the regulation impacts your area of responsibility.
How I stay abreast of regulatory changes: Record here how you stay up-to-date with any regulatory changes.
Comments: Record any context our additional comments here.
Review date: Use the date picker to select a date when this data should be reviewed.
Document: This section allows you to upload any supporting documents to demonstrate your understanding of the role. Click on the button to attach documents.
If you want to add more than one Regulation to the record - click the 'ADD ROW' button and repeat the steps above to fill in the details.
Once done, hit 'SAVE' and then 'CLOSE'.
