Corterum allows you to schedule tasks and attestations, meaning you can set up recurring tasks once and be safe in the knowledge that a task won't be forgotten.
To add a scheduled task, follow this process:
Click ADMINISTRATION, then select SCHEDULER
You'll then see a list of tasks for which scheduling IS enabled. You can then click the tab on the top right labelled "Disabled" to view a list of tasks for which scheduling is NOT enabled.
If you need to amend an existing scheduled task, click on the three-circle icon on the right-hand side of the task you'd like to amend, click Open Schedule, select EDIT and skip to step 6 of this article.
If you would like to create a new scheduled task, click the circular PLUS (+) button next to the word SCHEDULER.
A pop-up will appear.
First, select from the two dropdown menus to the right of "This will occur every" and select the number of days, weeks or months the task will occur.
Using the "From" dropdown menu will allow you to select an initial date on which the task will first occur.
Next, click the Action tab from the top of the pop-up.
Here you can use the dropdown menu to toggle whether a task or an attestation is created when on the date selected in the previous steps.
To continue, click the Configure Action tab. Here you can set a number of parameters for a task, including:
Title: give the task a descriptive name.
Description: add a summary of the task.
Priority: toggle whether the task is high, medium or low priority.
Require completion by all users: toggle whether or not the task is mandatory for all users the task is assigned to.
Deadline: use the dropdown menus to select the number of days, weeks or months from the task being created given to a user to complete it.
Select Roles to assign the task to: assign a task to a particular set of people who occupy specific roles such as Senior Manager or Certification Employee.
Next, click the Define Schedule tab. Here you can set the following parameters:
Title: the name of the schedule.
Description: a summary of what the schedule is built to do.
Click SAVE and CLOSE.
Calendar view
Corterum also allows you to see all of your tasks as part of a calendar. To do this, follow this process:
Click on the Switch to calendar view tab at the top of the Scheduler section
Here you can see an overview of all of your current and upcoming tasks.
You can see the full title of a task by hovering over it.
You can view and edit the details and parameters of a task by clicking on it.
To go back to the previous view, click Switch to table view.
Scheduling a task for a specific user
You can also schedule a task for a specific user, via the following process:
Click on ADMINISTRATION.
Select the Scheduler.
Click the blue PLUS (+) button.
Use the dropdown/calendar menus to set the date and frequency of the task.
Select that you want to create a TASK from the dropdown menu.
Set the title, description and level of priority.
Select the user(s) you want to assign the task to.
Set the schedule title and description.
Click SAVE, then CLOSE.
